Katie Hoffner é uma líder comunitária e promotora de mudanças sociais, direcionando os seus esforços para proteger o meio ambiente e melhorar a vida das mulheres.
Katie também é sobrinha de Lydia Ruyle e guardiã dos mais de 300 estandartes de ícones da deusa, criados por Lydia.
Katie considera uma honra ter os estandartes como seu Kuleana, uma palavra vinda das tradições havaianas que significa uma responsabilidade dos vivos em cuidar e proteger as histórias dos ohana (família).
Katie está ativamente empenhada em transmitir o conhecimento
da tia Lydia, a sua arte e HERstories para as próximas gerações.

Katie Hoffner
Katie Hoffner is a community leader and social change maker, directing her eff orts to protecting the environment and improving the lives of women.
Katie is also the niece of Lydia Ruyle and guardian of Lydia’s 300+ goddess icon banners.
Katie considers it an honor to have the banners as her Kuleana, a word coming from the Hawaiian traditions that means a
responsibility of the living to care for and protect the stories of the ohana (family).
Katie is actively engaged in passing on her Aunt Lydia’s knowledge, her artwork and HERstories to the next generations.
