Irene Crespo has a degree in German Philology and has been a teacher and motivational
trainer for a good part of her life.
From an early age, she had experiences that brought her into contact with the philosophy and
spirituality of the East and other spiritual traditions. In the meantime, she has travelled paths
that have led to writing, meditation, yoga, deep and intense emotional work, work with the
Human Shadow, the Sacred Feminine, Sacred Sexuality and forays into Iberian Shamanism and

follow what moves me: inspiring an informed and healthy relationship with the body and the
experience of intimacy as a place of connection to the self, to partnership and to life.
I see connection to the body and healing through pleasure as the therapeutic basis for
personal transformation and believe that they are both innovative and one of the most

Born in South Africa, Tara Chantelle Gomez grew up in Lisbon until she left for Asia.
She graduated in Marketing and Advertising but it was in Indian Dance, Yoga and Indian
philosophies of life that she found herself as an artist and human being.
She moved to India in 2008 when she fell in love with Odissi, Indian Classical Dance. She decided to make India her home and dedicate her time to intensive training, study and research of this ancient and sacred art, as well as training in Yoga: Tantra, Hatha and lyengar. In addition to the Arts of India, Tara has trained in Persian and Giro Sufi Dance and Bellydance Fusion. Multidisciplinary Dance Artist Camp; Yogini, Tara Chantelle Gomez lived between India and San Francisco for over a decade, where she immersed herself in the world of Ancient Ritual Arts and Traditions, co-creating transformative experiences through Ritual Dance, storytelling and immersive productions.
Tara is the curator and producer of the Nataraj Dance Stage at Boom Festival, dance curator for Being Gathering and founder of Jiya, Festival of India at Fundação Oriente.
