Goddess Conference

ABOUT THE GODDESS PORTUGAL CONFERENCE
In the fourth edition of our Conference, we pay tribute to the Waters - those that dance in
abundance across our territory, those that wind through the world, those that flow through
our bodies and overflow our emotions. We celebrate the waters that guard memory and are
the primordial cradle of life.
In the tradition of the Garden of the Hesperides, we honour the Waters in particular in the
South, in Litha, on the Summer Solstice, when the sunlight shimmers on the mirrors of water
and unfolds in reflections of liquid gold.
In this sacred gathering, we invoke Nabia, Goddess of flowing waters, whose name resonates
in the rivers Nabão, Neiva and Nava, and whose presence still echoes in the Ídolo Fountain in
Braga, and in other places. We will offer songs to Thetis, guardian of the deep oceans, and to
Cynthia, the resplendent Moon, whose essence is intertwined with that of Monte da Lua in
Sintra. We praise Mary, Lady of the Sea and Mother of Compassion, and we evoke Marinha,
the Hesperide of the ocean, in whose name ancient tides whisper.
We will also praise the magical creatures of the waters - Mermaids and Tritons, Seahorses,
Otters, Seals, Whales and Dolphins. We will revere Ondines and Nymphs, like the Tágides, and
the primordial Water Dragons, guardians of the oceanic mysteries.
Water is the womb and voice of the divine, the shrine of ancient devotions. In our Iberian
tradition, aquatic deities are inexhaustible sources of enchantment, and in the Dão and
Guadiana rivers, we still hear the name of the primordial Great Mother, Ana or Dana, who
sings in the currents and lulls the dreams of time.
It will be three days of ceremonies, talks, workshops, performances, celebrating the Goddess,
expanding Her knowledge, inspiration and devotion, opening our hearts to Her unconditional
Love, Her blessings of Connection, Joy, Purpose, Sustainability, Support and Abundance.
Thetis, Lady of the Eternal Waters
In the bluish veils of the ocean, where sky dissolves into waves,
there rests Thetis, Mother of the deep waters,
whose liquid arms cradle the dance of the tides
and whisper forgotten secrets to seafarers.
Her hair is foam that shimmers beneath the silver moon,
her hands shape the currents that embrace the land,
and Her song, echoing through the salty winds,
guides the fearless along the paths of destiny.
It was She who watched over the unfathomable waters,
guarding in the abyss the secrets of time,
whispering to the waves the eternal song
that rocks those who seek beyond the visible.
In the dancing reflections of the tide,
She reveals Herself to those who listen to the ocean’s silence,
for in the boundless blue of Her sacred realm,
the soul dissolves and is remade, infinite.
Mysterious and eternal, Lady of the Sea’s Mysteries,
a wave that never ceases,
the embrace of the tide that withdraws and returns,
Sublime Mother of all oceans.
Who hears the voice of the waters hears Thetis,
flowing with no beginning, no end,
forever between the tides of time.

There will be three days in which the veil of Her mysteries will be lifted for us and the blessings of the Goddess will become more accessible, bringing us the transformative magic of the Waters and divine Inspiration.

Nine Ceremonial Priestesses will hold the energy of the various faces of the Goddess in this celebration and nine Tribal Melissas will help those who participate to feel greater support and integration.
Women and men of the Goddess from around the world will contribute to the brilliance of this event, with communications, workshops, ceremonies, performances, exhibition and sale of arts and crafts.
